The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE French Blue Light Steel GS, designed for grade-schoolers, features a weathered appearance that is highlighted by a white leather upper with faded blue suede overlays. Along with a crimson Jumpman on the tongue and a color-coordinated Wings emblem on the lateral collar flap, the Air Jordan 1 Mid also has a light grey Swoosh. These elements are in strong contrast. The mid-top is supported by a rubber cupsole that has a heel-mounted Air-sole unit enclosed in it as well as a grey rubber outsole.
