The Comme des Garçons x Nike Air Foamposite One “White” is one of two limited edition colorways of the vintage basketball shoe designed by Rei Kawakubo’s storied Japanese fashion house in November 2021. The avant-garde, monochromatic white Air Foamposite One by Comme des Garçons was revealed at CDG’s Fall/Winter 2021 runway shoe in Tokyo, Japan, and is one of the most desirable sneaker collaborations of 2021. Comme des Garçons modified the Air Foamposite’s upper with wavy circular patterns in white. A small white Swoosh is embroidered on the forefoot and “Comme des Garçons Homme Plus” is printed in black on the heel. Underfoot, Penny Hardway’s signature “1 Cent” logo appears on the herringbone traction rubber outsole.
